In 2013, during my second year of university, I was required to look for a yearlong placement (also known as a co-op in the United States) within the software development industry as part of my degree. It was extremely important for me to find a suitable co-op placement, one that would help me to learn and gain experience within the industry. This was vital for my career and there’s a lot of pressure placed on students to get a high-quality placement position. Fortunately, I was able to obtain a placement within the engineering department at NaviNet. Throughout my interview process at NaviNet, it was stressed that I would become an important member of the development team and that my work would have a meaningful impact within the company.
This technology blog was created with software engineers and thought leaders in mind and will be focused on addressing technology issues and trends that impact software engineers. Since this is the brainchild of our engineering team, as NaviNet’s CEO, I’d like to tell you a little more about where we sit when it comes to healthcare technology and our engineering team.
